Getting ready for National Scrapbook Day...

I was determined to work on a bag tag Saturday that friends can make at my crop on Saturday...but when Missy arrived and shared a cute idea for a baby card, I switched gears.  How sweet are these?

but I did find a little time to get one sample done. It is missing the ribbon hanger, but I do like the design.  I love using background stamps along with blending the distress inks. Hopefully there will be more posted later this week.

An inspired project...

Way back in October I signed up for my first online class with Jennifer McGuire.  The title was Inspiration Showcase and it was lots of fun.  Each day a new technique was featured.  Some were new and some were not, but it was still fun (and inspiring) to do each one. The class featured bright colors but I altered that to bundled sage, dusty concord, and rusty hinge--all distress ink colors.  Besides having a good time creating, I used things I HAD - nothing new was purchased - AND I completed it and gave it to my daughter as an 'apartment warming' gift.  I hope you have crafted something cool lately....
